“Our Goal Is To See Hammers Flyin’ This Year”

The officers of the Bonham Theater Project made one thing very clear last weekend: the movie theater will be open for business in 2015.
Speaking before a small crowd at their annual meeting on Sunday the BTP group said first and foremost it is important for people to understand that despite the "two steps forward, one step back" progression in renovations the project is very close to being completed.
"This next week we will be doing interviews for a construction manager and I am very excited to tell people that by Christmas at the latest we will be watching movies again in the Bonham," BTP president Brooke Schwab said. "It is going to be absolutely wonderful to have the theater open in time for our annual downtown Christmas."
Group treasurer Debby Ebke said there have been several successful fundraisers during 2014 and that coupled with some key grants and monetary gifts have pushed the project to within 96% of its goal.

CHC Visitors Use Outpatient Entrance

Those who need to access acute care patient rooms – either as patients who are to be admitted or as visitors – may find it most convenient to park on the south side of the building and use the Outpatient/Emergency entrance. This entrance is locked after regular business hours, but a telephone is available in the entry way to contact nursing and allow the entrance.
Those who enter through the main entrance, or who are making stops to other areas in the hospital such as the rehab and sports clinic, will follow the orange “Hospital Services” signs around the outpatient hallway to access acute care (hospital) patient rooms.
