44th Annual Flea Market In Steele City Sept. 20-21, 2014

The 44th annual Steele City Flea Market and Antique Farm Machinery Show is set for this weekend, Sept. 20 and 21, in historic Steele City, Neb.,
The flea market will feature antique and craft vendors, as well as food and historic demonstrations, according to JCHS President Jim Cunningham, and there is no admission charge to get into the show.
“We invite everyone to come down and see all of the tractors as well as taking tours of our historic buildings,” Cunningham said. “We’re celebrating 44 years of the flea market, which started with about four tables and a lot of enthusiasm to raise money for the historical society.”
An antique tractor pull is scheduled for Saturday on the old Steele City School grounds with weigh-in by 11 a.m. and pulling to begin at noon. A scenic tractor drive will begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday from downtown. Both events are open to the public.
