Four years ago, Blair Hofstetter was a young player for the Meridian Lady Mustangs basketball team.
Fast forward to this year, Hofstetter has developed into an all-around superb basketball player who was honored for her play on the court by being named to the Class D-2 All-State Basketball first teams by both the Lincoln Journal Star and the Omaha World-Herald for the second straight year.
The 5’11” senior averaged 17.7 points per game and 8.8 rebounds per game for the 11-14 Lady Mustangs.
Earning all-state honors for the second consecutive year was quite special for Hofstetter.
“To be selected once was super, but to be selected twice is that much better. To receive all-state honors two years in a row that is pretty special and it made me quite happy,” Hofstetter said.
Hofstetter always had a goal of being chosen all-state in basketball.
