Jessica Borrenpohl Joins Fairbury Clinic at Physician Assistant

For Jessica Borrenpohl PA-C, working as a physician assistant is a dream come true – even though it wasn’t the career she first thought she wanted to pursue.
Her first college major was pharmacy, and then she switched to medicine. An internship and two years working as a certified nursing assistant gave her exposure to physician assistants and all that they do – and she decided that was her dream of being involved in medicine and helping patients.
She has a bachelor of science in biology, chemistry health science and psychology from Wayne State College, and her Physician Assistant degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She graduated in December 2014 as a PA.
Borrenpohl grew up on a farm in the rural Tecumseh area, the daughter of Jim and Theresa Borrenpohl. She knew she wanted to work in a small town where she could become a part of the community.
