A dominant 3-0 performance at the Lincoln Christian Holiday Quad helped the Wilber-Clatonia wrestling team enter the top 10 rankings for Class C according to newrestle.com.
The tenth-ranked Wolverines ended the event with victories in 15 of their 20 contested matches in a combined three duals against Lincoln Lutheran, Lincoln Christian, and Malcolm.
Bryan Odvody (145), Cooper Bates (152), and Spencer Thompson (160) were the three Wilber-Clatonia grapplers to win three contested matches.
Wilber-Clatonia won four of six contested matches, all of which were pins, and claimed six forfeits to defeat Lincoln Lutheran 60-15.
The Wolverines nearly replicated that performance against Lincoln Christian with a 58-18 victory. Wilber-Clatonia ended the quad by winning an event-best seven of eight matches wrestled in a 61-10 win over Malcolm. Tad Moldenhauer (138), Odvody (145),  Bredan Hooper (220), Nathan Patak (106), and Riley Wehrer (126) each recorded falls for the Wolverines.
