Right Photo: Tri County seventh grade students were presented with $500 and $250 prizes for their participation in the Nebraska Severe Weather PSA Contest on Wednesday in the Tri County Public Schools auditorium. The first-year contest was sponsored by the National Weather Service, the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency, and the Nebraska Association of Emergency Management. The money which will be used for use in the science classroom, was earned by creating an infographic, short video, or PSA.
